Arnold Schwarzenegger

When Arnold Schwarzenegger started his career in Graz, Austria, he had just one goal, to win the Mr. Universe title. But, owing to the sky high costs to be a member of a sports school, he prepared his very own sports room in the basement of his home. In 1961 he met former Mr. Austria Kurt Marnul. Marnul was so impressed of Arnold's physique that he asked him to train in the Atletic Union in Graz. It was then that Arnold's intense and extensive training began.

In 1965 he enrolled in the Austrian army, but had to go A.W.O.L to compete in Stuttgart, and as a reason, he was jailed after coming back. Arnold Schwarzenneger won the contest in Stuttgart and was given the title of Jr. Mr. Europe. By the time he turned 20, he had already won the titles of Mr. Germany and Mr. Universe. Later on he went on to win many other titles and thus decided to try his luck elsewhere. After following some English lessons and working as a road worker in Santa Monica, California, he received the offer to play the lead role in a documentary named Stay Hungry. The role won him a Golden Globe Award and started the start of an amazing, thriving career.

Arnold Schwarzenegger married American TV-presenter Maria Owings Shriver in 1986 and had four children named Katherine Eunice Schwarzenegger, Christina Aurelia Schwarzenegger, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Christopher Sergant Schwarzenegger. They family reside in Pacific Pallasades, California.
