Dorian Yates
Born in England on April 19, 1962 as Dorian Andrew Mientjez Yates, Dorian spent his childhood at Hurley, in Staffordshire. After his family moved to Birmingham, Dorian was convicted and sentenced to six months' detention at Whatton Youth Centre.
But, it was to change his life as he took to bodybuilding after finding out that he was the most powerful and fittest of Whatton's 300 inmates.
Nicknamed as 'The Shadow', Dorian Yates in one of the biggest bodybuilders. Dorian holds the distinction of winning 6 Mr. Olympia titles in a row.
Dorian Yates met the love of his life and his future wife Debbie Chin in January 1983. The couple were blessed with a son Lewis, in May 1984. Dorian currently lives in Walmley, Sutton Coldfield, England and is the owner of the Temple Gym. He also owns a couple of boxer dogs named Conan and Samson.
